I’ve developed B2B and B2C print, direct, and digital creative for a number of banks, including Regions, Citizens Bank, PNC, and Bremer. I also did extensive work for U.S. Bank. I’ve done projects for a number of divisions of Medtronic. Work includes product pages, landing pages, case studies, training materials, articles, internal communications, and telling the stories of the Medtronic Global Champions. 

The University of Minnesota Foundation is a long-standing client—I've worked with them for more than 20 years. Projects include developing fundraising materials and writing donor profiles for Legacy, a quarterly publication. In turn, that work has opened doors to other areas of the U, including the University of Minnesota Alumni Association.

One of the nation’s largest not-for-profit health plans, EmblemHealth serves 3.1 million people in the New York tri-state area. I worked on the account when I was a contract writer for Merkle. Projects included direct response, digital creative, and subway banners targeting general and Medicare audiences.

I've worked on a number of capital campaigns, including the largest campaign in MPR’s history. Work included naming the campaign (The Next Standard) and writing a 20-page brochure for major donors, a series of newsletters, and invitations to events. The campaign closed at $56 million, $10 million above the original goal. I also wrote two annual reports for MPR. 

Mitchell Hamline is the largest law school in Minnesota and a national leader in experiential education. I've done a variety of projects for Mitchell since 2008, including donor reports, case studies, and fundraising materials.

Nonprofit work includes integrated campaigns for the Arthritis Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the American Cancer Society, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. All work shown here was done through Merkle.

In many ways, speeches are like any form of marketing communications—the goal is to inform and inspire an audience. What's different is that speeches must be readily understood while they're being delivered, requiring content that's especially clear and well organized. I'm definitely up to the task. I've written more than 125 speeches of all lengths for Target executives and other clients.

How do you make employees feel better about their umpteen-hour workweeks? Give them a rewards program that provides perks along the way.

Leadership Transitions is run by an organizational psychologist who offers executive development and coaching services. She wanted a site that would explain her work in a clear but lighthearted way and dispel any anxiety people might have about working with a psychologist. 

PRI helps create a more informed and empathetic world by sharing stories, encouraging exploration, and connecting people and cultures—a mission that was underscored in the work shown here. 

This project was a website redesign for an executive coach who helps high-potential and C-suite leaders accelerate business results. Work included redoing the entire visual approach, adding and revising copy to reflect the new look and feel, and incorporating responsive design.

This geo-targeted campaign had one overarching goal—to remind USAA members that while they can't fight Mother Nature, they can take steps to prevent or reduce the damage she can cause. 

I'm a big fan of the Center for Spirituality & Healing, a longtime leader in advancing integrative health and healing through interdisciplinary education and innovative programs. So I was thrilled when they asked me to write an article about Wellbeing for All, their new fundraising initiative.
